Giovanni Boldini - "Master of Swish"

Boldinis portraits of woman are like John Singer Sargent-"light"
(for my taste...).
His landscapes shows more artistic qualities!
More works from Boldini here.

Mariano Barbasan - Spanish painter

Mariano Barbasan was a painter of the spanish country life. Born and death in Zaragoza(Spain).
Like many academic painter of his time he has painted some historical works. One of this
shows a group of knigths on a rock. For my taste the first oil study has more life and impression
than the finish work.
